OK so I am looking at all the books I need to buy for next year and I have a problem. My oldest daughter is using Saxon Math Algebra 1 for math this year, but when I went to look for Saxon Geometry, I can't find it!! Do they not make one? And if not what do I do next year, Algebra 2? Doesn't she NEED a Geometry program?

I am assuming your daughter is in high school. According to Saxon website:

Algebra 2

Algebra 2 includes extensive lessons in geometry. The equivalent of one semester of informal geometry, with a continuation of essential algebra concepts from Algebra1.

and

Advanced Mathematics

Advanced Mathematics interweaves concepts from algebra, geometry, trigonometry, discrete mathematics, and analysis for a fully integrated understanding of advanced mathematics to help students prepare for college entrance exams such as the SAT and ACT.

It appears that geometry is woven into the algebra 2 and advanced math courses.

I just read on thir website myself that they are coming out with a full Geometry program, but it doesn't say when! I guess I will have to start looking into other programs because we will need it by September. It just seems strange not learning Geometry after Algebra 1.

Oh and yes my daughter is in high school. :faint

Hope it's not too late! My son did Saxxon, and also Abeka, I really like this Math-u-See now, it works great for the upper level math so far, and I am learning it right along with him. I haven't got to Geometry yet, but this program is good and it comes with a dvd-that is yours to keep. I plan on reusing it with all my other children, now that I'm understanding it! 1-888-854-6284 and mathusee.com I hope this helps!--Schoolmom http://www.mathusee.com/sequence.html

Well I was not able to obtain the information at the conference for you. However I did find this link on Saxons website.
It looks like you can now order both teacher and student books for full geometry course.

Here is that link for you. Hope this helps
