Managers of Their Homes

Wow, I just wanted to share the Lord's awesome answer to my prayer! If you read the thread I posted recently about being tired and overwhelmed, you know that I was in serious need of God's intervention! I ordered Managers of Their Homes, honestly expecting that it would be like all of the other scheduling info/parenting/household management books I have read. I've only browsed through it and read a few sections but I already feel that a burden has been lifted from me! I can't wait to schedule the time to make my schedule :aha. I also ordered a cd for my husband who hates to read about fathers being the spiritual leader of the family. I haven't listened to it because it says wives aren't supposed to. And strangely, I don't feel like I need to. I'm going to give it to dh tonight.

What an awesome God we serve! I owe Him a very sincere and humble apology for thinking He abandoned me. :doh:pray

I am so glad to read this wonderful post. I had read the other 'overwhelmed' one, and, indeed, it sounds like our gracious and kind heavenly Father has brought you just what you needed, and just in time. Praise God. :)

Just an update to my earlier post: I just now ordered "Managers of Their Homes" for my daughter-in-law who home schools our oldest grandchild. Thanks so much for the recommendation. I'm thrilled to find another book authored by Steve & Teri Maxwell. :yeah
