over 600 earthquakes in the last 10 days, not a big one and aftershocks, but like before a volcanic eruption, only no volcanoes in the area...

Read the article. They are suppose to be sending out a team to see if they can detect any possibility of magma eruption under the ocean. It appears that water samples can contain stuff that will help them detect this.

Of course they cant do anything about it, but it sure seems to me that the plates are really struggling to move :scratch

Um... I don't know where this person who wrote the article got their information... but there are at least 5 active volcanoes in Oregon, and those earthquakes could be taking place around the tunnels that lead to any of them.

Things like this make me nervous. There are too many things, in spite of all the research, that we don't understand about earthquakes and volcanos. When they say that they haven't heard anything like this before and there is that much actvity it could be "mother nature" getting ready for "A Really Big Shoe". That last quote will only have meaning for us old timers who used to watch old time B&W TV. But kidding aside I wonder what the rumbling is signaling, if anything?
