Windows 98 vs XP vs Vista

Vista stinks. Win 98 does fairly well, but has it's share of configuration difficulties. XP wins.

I'll be keeping XP on my computers for as long as I can. Microsoft will keep supporting it until 2014. I only use Windows to play games (Linux for everything else) so there's absolutely no reason to even consider Vista.

I like Vista just fine, you just need enough hardware to handle it... and compatible hardware. I've still got 5 XP pro systems in the house... XP is good too, and not quite as resource hungry. On new systems I'm going with Vista business.
