Well it took a while but I finally had my baby girl on Wednesday May 30th. Things didn't go exactly as planned because I ended up having to have a c-section after being induced sunday and even though they gave me dose after dose of stronger and stronger induction medicine I still didn't get past 4cm in 4 days of labor. my contractions got stronger and stronger but nothing would happen so the dr said we had to do a c-section. that was the one thing I really wanted to avoid, however I think I impressed some nurses with my tolerance of going through 4 days of induced labor but of course this being my first baby I really didn't know any different.
Having a c-section really sucks I can't do anything now. I stayed in the hospital for another 2 days after the c-section for a total of 6 days in the hospital the bills gonna be outragous :gaah I hope to post pics soon.

her name is Natalie Renee she was 6lbs 15 oz and 18.75 inches. I do have a question for you moms though. Is it normal to hear her bones kinda crack when she moves around and stretches? :idunno

Oh....! Congratulations! :yay I have been wondering about you. :hug Can't wait to see pictures of your new blessing. :nod
I had the same thing happen to me with my first. I wasn't induced, but went into labor naturally, water broke before pains started but just would not dialate enough. Didn't have to go through 4 days of labor though. :panic After 12 hours of hard labor, the doc. decided on a C-section.
It is hard to recover from a c-section, especially after so much labor. Your body is just so worn down from that. Good news is, if your second child is a c-section and they schedule it, you don't have to go through any labor and the recovery is so much easier and quicker.
Like you, the first time that I had a C-section, I was in the hospital for 6 days. The second planned C-section I was only in for 3 days and felt tons better during recovery. :)
Again, congratulations on your new daughter. I'll be keeping you in prayer for a speedy and complete recovery. :pray

As a mother of a baby born with dislocated hips, I would say to make sure the doctors know that you hear her crack when she stretches. I'm sure it's perfectly normal, after all, she's been scrunched up for a while! :)
But make sure the doctors check her for 'hip click'. It's a very easy thing for them to do and it doesn't hurt the baby at all.
Congratulations!!:yay
