Does anyone have any great leads on a few good group studies? I know there are so many out there but I guess what I am hoping to find one for our group that is something that can maybe start people thinking about the urgency even if they haven't thought about it up to this point.
Any ideas would be appreciated greatly........

Are you looking specifically for end times stuff?
This isn't end times but it is very good. We've been doing Faith Lessons for the last couple of years in our Sunday School class. We are actually going to finish up the last lesson this Sunday and I have to say I am pretty sad. I have never looked forward to Sunday School as much as I have since we've been doing this study. :thumb

Ray VanDerLan (sp? :idunno) takes you to different places in the Holy Land. He really helps bring the Bible to life by explaining traditions, ways of life, ect. and helping you see the Scripture through the ancient Jewish eyes.

Oh...Jack Kelley does an outstanding study through the Book of Daniel. You could do a study on Daniel. :thumb I think that book is the most fascinating in the Bible. http://www.gracethrufaith.com/ikvot/the-end-times-according-to-daniel-part-one-chapters-2-and-7
Once we did Chuck Missler's study through the Feasts of Israel and their prophetic implications. What we did was buy the audio series and listened to each tape (dating myself here) each week and then discussed it after. It came with a study guide. :thumb
khouse.org I think you can listen to it online too, then you wouldn't have to purchase it.
How about getting Arnold Fruchtenbaum's Footsteps of the Messiah and doing it a chapter a week. :thumb
Can I come? I SO miss Bible Studies. :cry

i don't know what kind of study you are looking for, but i do the "joy of Living" bible study. I do it on my own and in a group study. you don't need anything other than your bible and the workbook. they have their own site you can order from as a group or individual. i have really enjoyed theses studies they are similar to bible study fellowship in their layout (one chapter a week verse by verse, etc) hope this helps
