I was just wondering about swimsuits. I went shopping for one a few weeks ago and it came into my mind that none of them were actually modest, even the one piece suits. I ended up buying a full coverage one piece, but I still didn't feel quite right disrobing at the pool. This is a new issue for me because I've never been a beach or pool person. That was actually my first swimsuit purchase lol. So I was wondering what you all look for when you shop for swimsuits and where you purchase them etc.

I like the 2 pieces where the top looks like a tank top with skinny straps and goes all the way down to the bottoms, and the bottoms are kind of little shorts. This is the kind of swimsuit I get now AFTER having babies :pound!

I have a one peice my aunt got me, and I wear long yoga pants over it. I don't do "mixed swimming" except with family generally speaking.

Well my dd wears a 1 piece - the kind like athletes wear..

I wear a 2 piece -- with the tankini style top and the skirt bottom.. Though probably not this year -- too soon after having a baby..:faint It only shows a little bit of my upper half and only a little bit of my lower half.. Hides the most hardest to lose spots and isn't tp risque..

i don't swim in public.

i don't feel like being attacked by a dozen or so hippie treehuggers slapping me with wet towels, trying to shove and roll me "back" into the ocean and steer me toward home....:tsk

I swim in my black suit like Jerry Falwell did.
