Need to know what is the best video format for GodTube? I have tried wmv and mpeg4 at 320 X 240, 30 and 29 fps. Video quality is not as good as others on their site. Have any suggestions? :thinking

I have not had time to research this, but I do not have the software to convert AVI to flash files. Is there any free software to do this? Thanks for your help in advance.

WM Converter (http://www.download.com/WM-Converter/3000-2194_4-10700602.html?tag=lst-1) works pretty good

Tried your suggestion, downloaded and installed. Encoded to flv. Was not able to view file. Uploaded to GodTube, did not work. I will try again this evening to see what I'm doing wrong.

I thought Godtube was like Youtube. You uploaded a standard video file, from a camera, etc. and it would handle the conversion.

Hmm, odd, I would think that they would allow people to upload videos in flash format.
Windows can't open it without a codec or FLV player (http://www.download.com/FLV-Player/3000-2139_4-10467081.html).
I guess I should try getting a GodTube account and try it myself first.
I know it works with Youtube.

No, I do not get any type of error, the upload seems successful, but it does not get posted. I did email GodTube, and all they would say is list the file types they can convert,(flv was listed). Did not give any preferred setting like fps, resolution, ect.

After reading your post again, I decided to upload again, this time it worked, although video quality was worse. I may have encoded at too low of quality, as file size was only 15 meg for a 5 minute video. Will start over and try again.
