BEIJING — Angry Chinese citizens are turning the tables on global protesters against the Beijing Olympics, organizing an online campaign to boycott luxury French brands in retaliation for last week's Olympic torch-relay protests in Paris.

Interesting how easily other nations call for boycotts although they criticize the US for doing the same... :ohno

Reminds me of the Middle East boycott on Danish goods a year or so ago, when the Prophet cartoon row broke out.

I heard someone saying they thought the boycotts were the wrong way to go because if would enforce a sense of patriotism in the chinese people, and do the opposite of what the protesters were trying to do... interesting...
