Has there been any kind of report that the mother on any kind of weird hormonal stuff? You hear about strange things happening when you start messing with birth drugs. It was only a year or two ago that a child was born with four arms and hailed as a deity reincarnate. If this does nothing else, it should remind us how desperately people need to hear the truth of God's Word and the resurrection of His Son, Jesus. Amen!

There are enough multi-headed and multi-limbed Hindu gods and goddesses, it's going to take a determined effort from one of the parents for this kid to get surgery, like the other kid got last year.

I recall in the earlier case, the whole village wanted to worship the little girl, but the determined dad ensured she got free surgery from a big city hospital. Going by what this dad is saying, this baby may not be so lucky. :(

Have you noticed that most of these "freak" births happen in India? What is it there that causes so many of these birth defects? And like other posters have said - it's so sad for these babies because the parents believe these children are hindu gods or goddess reincarnated! What a sad, sad situation.

I think one of the factors that should be considered it that India has more births per year than anywhere else and because of the religion there, these anomalies are widely publicized and seen as significant there.

Gosh, everytime a child is born with a deformity its a freakin diety to them, how sad.

everything and everybody is god and part of god so this is just an extension and expression of that belief to them, its a way to visualize their gods, and nothing better then a deformed child that will bring attention and media to their warped false religion.
