What is your favorite translation?
For me personally is the NIV, however, King Jimmy is pretty good too.:thumb

I only read the KJV but I will be getting a Geneva Bible (Pre-KJV) pretty soon. :)

I voted KJV but I think parallel Bibles are the way to go.

My vote went to the King James Verison
The NIV is missing over 300 passages, I use it as a reference to the KJV for understanding some passages.

Really? The KJV has 300 more passages than the NIV? I never knew that.

yes when they wrote the NIV, they left passages out of it. When I learned this, I stopped using it as my "primary" Bible. I went back to the KJV, I'm finding less and less of going to the NIV for scripture clarification/understanding.

Very interesting, the only I had known of before, rather a verse, was acts 8:37.

I use the KJV and the NKJV, and I think they are both great...but the NKJV is my personal favorite.

I don't have a favorite....... For everyday reading I like the NIV or NKJV... but when I want to check something of memorize a verse, I use the KJV
