This is my post for yesterday.... (when you finish reading this you'll see why I didn't post yesterday)
Today is the 1 year anniversary of my mom's unexpected death. That's ok, she knew the Lord, she's with Him. I'm exceedingly glad!
Tomorrow is 1 month since my aunt's quick passing, also unexpected. That may not be ok, as I'm not sure of her relationship with the Lord. She was very Catholic, but prayed, so the Lord only knows. I took her death a little harder than my mom's, very weird.
But, here's the praise part.
Last night, my daughter was in a very bad car accident. It could of been fatal for her and her 2 friends. No alcohol, drugs,or speed were involved. They were simply eeking their way out of a parking lot , left onto a busy road. Their view was blocked by an illegally parked suv. The Jeep rolled a few times and landed on it's roof.
Praise part! ...My husband came home a little early, the phone rang right after he came in, he answered, it was Jess calling from inside the wreckage, right after the accident, before anyone arrived on the scene. She was very alert and coherant, but was very upset she couldn,t move her foot. She was bleeding alot from her legs. I am crying my eyes out typing this.
Anyway, we sped over to where they were, a huge macabre scene , horribly eery, and surreal. My stomach was bottomed out, seeing 3 ambulances, four fire trucks, 5 or 6 police cruisers, and alot of onlookers, 50 or more, everyone just comes out to gawk. People crying that didn't even know our girls, just taken aback at the visual of it all. My husband parked and just took off towards the ambulances, I just walked like there was lead in my legs. I just looked at the people's faces, shaking my head like why? If Jess had not called us twice before we got there, us knowing she was ALIVE, and ok enough to talk intelligently, I probably would have fainted! I went into the ambulance, saw her lying there, she cried when she saw me, but she was basically OK!!!
Praise our wonderful Father God, there 's alot more to say, but I'm sure there alot of folks here that have been through this or worse, but it's an experience that will draw you nearer to Him. I grabbed my Bible along with my coat when we took off to go, I read psalm 91 out loud, very loud, by myself in the car following the ambulance!
Father God hears and answers us when we trust Him and seek His loving Face
Amen!!
Gotta go to a ROUTINE doctor follow up appointment now. I say that because I love the fact that it is only a routine appointment, not an emergency.
