I was posting in the forum, but my membeship was deleted and banned for exposing a heretical group that the founder of the site has gotten himself mixed up with.

The name of the organization is The Prophecy Club
I was surprised at the manor in which the moderator decided to silence me. I sort of liked the forum, until that occurance. It's no big deal that I am not allowed to post there anymore. I only go there to read the "news" once in a while; and I don't agree with most of the members' doctrinal positions: denying the rapture and eternal security.

Any ways, this is my first post here. How am I doing?

Everyone has their opinions I guess, sorry to hear yours was squelched. That's one of the more open minded boards I've found but I just dont like to spread myself out on too many boards. I too dont agree with many of the views there but I've found they are more open minded as I said.

I go to that page for news, he does pull out some pretty good news, but his analysis is a bit questionable. He has in the past taken a pretty strong stance on thinking he knew who the AC is. He has backed up a bit from that though. He also laid out pretty strongly time frame for when he thought the trib was going to start, and that date has past. From the way he talks recently he is really vague but hints that maybe he thinks we are in the trib. He doesn't say that outright, he just kinda hints at it. Plausible deniability.

I did post on the forum there for a little while a couple of years ago, but stopped because I got tired of them pushing their stance on the rapture which is not pre-trib.

Yup, pretty much where I stand with that forum too. I think the Lord would prefer me not to get involved there. It seems that, those who deny the rapture also don't believe in eternal security, which tends to promote a salvation by works; or the Cross+works. The two usually go hand in hand.

I am like several of you, I like to look at Herb's board and read his news. I don't agree with all of his views, I am pretrib and I hated to see him get mixed up with Johnson and the Prophecy Club. Herb used to post on this board or I guess the old RRBB before he changed to whatever he is, I am not sure if he is prewrath, posttrib or what now.

Yes, that is very dissapointing. Stan Johnson claims to be a baptist too; not sure what type. Maybe freewill or something, but he promotes some very dangerous heretical teachings; some are literal antichrist as described in
1John 4:1-3. I met him and one of his false teachers in Phoenix; with whom he has had a bitter falling out with since.

I posted information about Stan's site and I was called a false accuser:aha
I defended the Lord's simple Gospel and way of salvation, and was called a false accuser. I find it very funny, and don't mind the slander in the slightest.
I know who my Savior is.

God loves the people in this world so much. Wouldn't it be great if every one knew that?

it is a fine line that divides, and easy to cross over. We should pray for those who cross over, and for ourselves, because we could just as easily cross it.

If your going to make an accusation at least get your facts straight. Most members do not deny the rapture. :rolleyes All positions are welcome on that board, but by far the majority of the members including Herb do believe in the rapture of the Church. I am very sorry you had a bad experience there, it is usually a very tolerable board.
