Farmers and food executives appealed fruitlessly to federal officials yesterday for regulatory steps to limit speculative buying that is helping to drive food prices higher. Meanwhile, some Americans are stocking up on staples such as rice, flour and oil in anticipation of high prices and shortages spreading from overseas.

speculative buying and hoarding is not a problem, just symptoms of possible food shortages. The solution is to produce enough food.

Which they are not doing. I do believe this is being created for a reason and we are seeing the signs of the future. One way of controlling people is the food, people will be willing to accept anything to survive.
It does seem the secular is realizing the food shortages, even here in America.
I do urge everyone to pray, for the current situation and for the future. We will be rapture however many of us have love ones that will not be. I am planting the knowledge of why this is taking place and what the future holds. Pray fully they will cry out to the Lord before the rapture.

And Al Gore and all these GREEN people are idiots! Bio-fuel leads to starvation!
But thank God, Pres. Bush is calling for bio-fuel production to be cut back. He is also sending emergency relief to the nations with food shortages. "Thank you Lord!"
