I'll go on record that I believe we have seen nothing yet. It has barley begun. Others?

If there is another bubble. How long until that one pops?

Yes, everything is going to be okay. God has everything in control. Whether "okay" is what we expect or not--no clue.

Yes i agree with you! I don't think it is that bad yet.. :twitch With that said, i'm sure eventually these bubbles are going to get very large and each one will get us a little closer to our way out of here!:rapture

I believe once this election is over things will hopefully get a little more under control -- i could be totally wrong, but my hope is for that. Election years things always go a little haywire on the economy..

Ignoring for a minute the housing and credit bubble, the derivatives bubble was under $570 trillion about 2 months ago...yesterday I read it was $700 trillion!!! The world GDP is $50 trillion.

Bubbles, you ask?

Nevertheless, BeNotAfraid is right- God is on the throne.

Bubble is a good word for it. But it could still be a little uncomfortable for us. I think the world will get much worse.

This is just my opinion of course and I've been wrong more times than right over my lifetime... and I personally hope I"m wrong... but.. I think this is it... I think what we see happening to gas and food prices is planned and is being done on purpose to achieve many purposes. One could be to collapse the economy here ... if you break a group of people in areas that matter to them....and if they don't have a strong foundation of integrity, morality, or whatever, .... if you break them in one area.. they will usually give up something precious to get back at least something similar to what they had, know and are comfortable with.

America has lost its moral foundation, relativism will do that. We no longer (for the most part) want to bless God, but we just want His blessings, preferably material in nature. This country started with morals, integrity and a strong "constitution"..afterall, we had a purpose. But now? Our only purpose is to please ourselves, to love ourselves, etc. We have gotten way off course in 200 years.

So take a quest for power.... for control... for money.... for more of everything.... break the strongest economy in the world with a people who not only dont know right from wrong, but dont care anymore.... and you can control them..... you can set up the world like you want it.....

No, its not just greed driving up the prices on gas and food.. I personally think there is more to it this time .. and its a preceived plan being worked out right under our noses... we just keep working, shopping and doing "our own thing".... until its too late.. and by then, most will be so lulled into complacency they wont even remember what they are giving up.... the proverbial comfort zone is a very strong draw.... and it will probably be our downfall....... :ohno

are we in for it this time? I surely hope not... but I think the river has picked up pace, we've thrown our oars into the water... and will have no choice but to go w/ the flow.. at least until Jesus returns.....I probably sound pretty crazy.. and maybe I am.... I just hope I'm not right.... :faint

How true. This has nothing to do with it but ....:hehee it does. Had a huge slumber party for our 12 year old last nite. Many of the girls there were 11-13. They walked into our home and begain to complain openly about the party. I was absolutely stunned. The total since of ME. They broke out their cell phones and begain to demand for their mom and dad to come and get them because so and so was there. The point was or is The total lack of decent behaviour is gone. No since of this right behaviour and this wrong behaviour.

I went through Walmart to look for Dead Heat by Joel Rosenberg and found copies of Edgar Tolie everywhere and people buying the book. Fliped open the back cover and wanted a Spiritual Shower after a few paragraphs of that filth. Tens of thousands of americans are reading this garbage they will believe anything anymore.
