Is there more than one way we can please God? According to scripture, what is the one sure way we can please God?

One way for sure is trusting in Jesus' atonement for salvation.
Another is walking by faith
and doing God's will. (which is basically the first 2)
a daily prayer life is another

I just read that in Hebrews 6:11..."without 'faith' it is impossible to please God."

Would you consider faith a good thing then?

Hebrews 6:11 does not say that.

Hebrews 11:6 says...

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
If you do not have faith in Him, then you do not believe in Him or in what He said or in what He did. Therefore, you cannot please Him. Faith is absolutely necessary.

Your faith has to have an object
Faith in God
Faith is 'hearing from God and receiving it'
The message of the OT is "God will provide"
and the message of the NT is "God provides us with Jesus"
Our faith in God must be placed upon Jesus

Notice the pattern:
1) Hear from God
2) Receive it
3) carry it out

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

God's message is substance sent to hearing ears.
His people hear His word and receive it, their evidence is believing it and doing it.

Hebrews 11:4 By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain,

Cain heard from God and did as instructed.

Hebrews 11:7 By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark

Noah heard God's instructions and carried them out

Hebrews 11:8 By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going.

Abraham heard from God and did as he was told

Hebrews 11:13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them.

They believed upon God's words to them.......

Hebrews 11:17 By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,

Hebrews 11:18 of whom it was said, “In Isaac your seed shall be called,”

Hebrews 11:19 concluding that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead, from which he also received him in a figurative sense.

Hebrews 11:20 By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come.

Hebrews 11:21 By faith Jacob, when he was dying, blessed each of the sons of Joseph, and worshiped, leaning on the top of his staff.

Hebrews 11:22 By faith Joseph, when he was dying, made mention of the departure of the children of Israel, and gave instructions concerning his bones.

Hebrews 11:23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden three months by his parents, because they saw he was a beautiful child; and they were not afraid of the king’s command.

Hebrews 11:24 By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter,

Hebrews 11:25-26 choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin, esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt; for he looked to the reward.

Hebrews 11:27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible.

Hebrews 11:28 By faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of blood, lest he who destroyed the firstborn should touch them.

Hebrews 11:29 By faith they passed through the Red Sea as by dry land, whereas the Egyptians, attempting to do so, were drowned.

By obeying His Torah and belief in His Son Yeshua.Setting out to obey the Torah is a setup for failure.
It's better to rest in Jesus and allow God's will to be worked out through your life.

Love the Lord, with all your heart, all your mind, and all your soul

Then Love your neighbor, as yourself,

But Believe first in the One who enables you to Love, Jesus Christ.

And to believe in Him you must know Him through the Word.

And you must have faith that the Word is God, is true, and by the Holy Spirit has the power to save you. That word is that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us, for none of us is righteous, no not one. And He made a way that we might be saved: Believe in the name of Jesus and you will be saved. Believe He took your sins upon Himself and exchanged with us, His righteousness for them. Therefore there is no comdemnation for those who belong to Christ.

And what does the Lord want? For you to walk humbly with Him, to learn from Him, to Love Him in spirit and truth.

Is there more than one way we can please God? According to scripture, what is the one sure way we can please God?Joh 6:29 Jesus answered and said to them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent."
