It looks like the U.S. midwest may have a drought at a very bad time.
If it does happen food prices will go even higher.:fear

All the rain we keep getting here in Missouri doesn't seem to be an oncoming drought....heh....

This is an interesting site put out by the Government concerning drought expectations through July 2008:http://www.cpc.noaa.gov/products/expert_assessment/season_drought.gif

All our windshield wipers are dry rotting here in Nevada. Have to replace them once a year after using them 2 or 3 times.

In the last week the local Vegas TV showed a dew point of -8. I would hope the rest of the country will not become like Nevada. The whole country needs to turn to God or learn to eat dirt. That's what we have if we continue to turn from God.

I'm so very sorry for you all having to endure this long drought. I will be praying for you to receive some much needed rain.:hug:pray:pray

I'm prolly going to move back to Florida soon. Not really happy with 118 degree summer days out here. :idunno
I get so tired of people saying, "but Stan, it's a dry heat."

But Stan, it is a dry heat! :aha
We live in Central FL. It's gorgeous from Oct.-April. But come May, HOT AND HUMID EVERY DAY. The only time we get a break is when we're hit by a hurricane. But who wants those? :idunno
