Friday night my husband and I passed the scene of a car/train wreck shortly after it happened. It was horrifying! All we could see of the car was an upside down chassis that looked like it had been chewed apart. Paramedics had a person on a stretcher and we weren't certain if the victim was alive or dead, but it didn't look good. When we returned home, I posted about the accident in the Prayer forum. We were afraid, living in a small town, that the victim was probably someone we know and that our hopes for the pearson's survival and recovery weren't very high. Well, I want to thank God for being so merciful, The victim was a contractor from another town who was leaving work when the accident occurred. Apparently, he was thrown clear of the car and train and did not suffer life threatening or catastrophic injuries. He is expected to make a full recovery. I am so thankful to God that this accident didn't result in someone losing a husband, son father, etc. I thank all who check the prayer requests on these boards and are faithful to pray. And I praise God for Who He is.
