Sports have changed since I was a kid and now we are driving kids all over the place to play soccer, baseball, Lacross, etc...Will gas prices end this do you think?

I think a lot of people will be thinking twice when they find that they have very little money left over....now, when I go out...I'm going to be thinking about the gas that is spent....

we are very lucky that our jobs are rather close to home and grocery stores and shopping places are right on the way back from work.

technically, we have no reason to have to make any trips just for shopping.

daughter's school is in walking distance and also 'on the way'...and as a result, so are most all school activities.

Unfortunately, we have several sexual predators, including those who seek young girls, living in our immediate area (like 4 doors down from our house and 2 more down but across the street). So, if my girls need to get to school for a function outside of school hours, my husband or I will drive them. I don't even like the girls to take a walk with the dog anymore because of this.

Very scary, but they are EVERYWHERE u go!!
There was a web site that you could go to and put in your area code and it would tell you where they were.....but I can't remember what the address was....:thinking

As people get squeezed, they'll be forced to start dropping things that they do for their kids and family. I'll keep on as long as I can.

We aren't taking our daughters to dance next year. Right now we go 5 days a week for a total of 8 hours in the car and that doesn't include special shows or conventions that we have to go to.
