How do you multi-quote separate posts onto one of your own posts? I see the button but how does it work? The suggestion is: can we have the Homeschool topic moved to General Discussions and can we add a Sports topic and a Recipe topic to General Discussions. I know there are guys like me w/some interest in homeschooling and there are women who enjoy sports. Recipes cut both ways b/c men can post game and grilling recipes. Thanks for your consideration.

If you click on it, it should change colors, the + sign should also turn to a - sign. You can keep clicking on other users posts, the multi-quote part that is. The last post you click on to respond should be the standard "quote" button. Your response should be generated in the order you clicked the multiple quote buttons, and the last quote in your new post will be from the standard "quote" post.

Homeschool is open to everyone as is, it is not reserved for women only.

A specific Sports or Recipe forum is a different topic. We'll let you know...

OK, thanks, I do not see a + or - sign, but the button changes color and I did not know abt using reg quote at the end to get it all to work. I'll try it out.

Thanks and I'll post if I have something to add... For now if I start another sports thread, I'll put it in Anything Goes like I did w/the NBA Playoff thread, so that the ladies are free to post. Thanks, HiE!

Great suggestions :thumb I'd love to see sports & recipe forums which are open to everyone.

So many times I do a search to see if a sports thread is already started, and nearly all the time they are in the Mens Room so we ladies can't post. :panic

i have never been asked to not post in sports threads in the men's area... i assume they don't mind ( i would stop if asked)- i stumble in there by mistake sometimes and end up in non-sport men threads, but i would assume its not a huge problem as long as i don't use the thread to discuss which catcher is the cutest in all of major league baseball, or who's the hunkiest first baseman, yanno, really dumb, pointless stuff like that.

sometimes there is a running joke going on and then its a free for all :aha

i don't mind at all when men post in the ladies forum, at least not when it isn't obviously a "ladies only" subject.

but thats just me :idunno:lol2
