Timeline software?

Anyone have recommendations for good timeline software?

I've checked out a few online, but would like to hear from someone who has
actually used something.

Doesn't need to be anything fancy. I'll be using it to timeline my life and the
lives of other family members.

You could use the draw functions in word

i want to know too, part of why i posted that egypt and bible history thread a couple weeks back, i'll try any free software (if it exists)that might work and see if i need anything more complex later.

Excel can be adapted to accommodate nearly anything. I use it alot at work and would begin with it if I was starting a project at home too.
