I guess this is the same as faith healing (prayers) when one mother thought all she had to do is pray that her daughter will be heal

Here in Australia, in similar circumstances, the courts have the power to override parental wishes. It has saved a lot of children's lives. if you are an adult, then it is your own choice, but a little child has no choice in the matter.
