Sorry if any read this and thought it might be interesting .... but I KNOW I saw a post yesterday or the day before that mentioned a movie with the word "oil" in the title. I thought it sounded interesting, but I cannot find the thread or post that it was in. Anyone know or remember?

Thanks, Issachar

I had mentioned a movie released in 2005 from the FX network called Oil Storm alot of parallels. The summer that was released that fall Hurrican Katrina hit NO. In the movie I think gas is only in the low $3.00 range well the reality today we are paying mid to high 3.00 gallon and the fallout on our society as this hurricane takes it toll on the infrastructure in the gulf.

Hmmm ... thanks guys. Maybe this thread could be a place to post video info about energy situations ....

Oil Storm is the one I saw posted. Thanks.
Crude sounds interesting ... I wonder if it'd be in a library. I'll have to check. Thanks.

Crude Awakening is a documentary about peak oil that we ordered from Netflix. I did some research on the movie after we watched it, and one reviewer said it should be sold with razor blades to make it easier to slit your wrists after viewing it! It is a very sobering view of oil supplies, with haunting footage of abandoned oil fields. I can still see the pictures of traffic jams--a sobering reminder of how dependent we are on gasoline in our daily lives.
