When is this feature coming back to RR?

It probably won't. You'll need to come to the board and view the threads. We don't want to be labeled as spammers for all the email notifications being sent out.

oh.

The function is still listed and able to be checked when a post is submitted though.

It might still be listed on the post page, but the option is disabled in the admin control panel. The email notification function provides alot of extra work for the server, and that was an issue a while back. We also don't want to get on the spammers list considering the number of posters we have here and if everyone set up email notification, we could be in a bind there. It's just best for it to be turned off. :)

Would it do any good to beg? (insert begging smilie)

I really miss that feature. People can choose to turn off the email if they want.

Unfortunately, folks don't turn the feature off and we will could get banned as spammers. Sorry. :)
