Hi Everyone! :wave
Has anyone taken this course yet from The Way of the Master? I'm a huge fan. I've seen all of the shows, read the books, etc. etc. For those who have done the course, I was wondering how this course compared to the 26 episodes that they have? The 8 videos they provide from the course are slightly re-done and they take some of the highlights from the shows, right? I have a copy of the study guide and it looks awesome and it looks very interactive. My Sunday School class should be doing this study in about 3 months and I'm very excited!! My issue was whether are not to just go through the shows (a friend of mine has all of the videos I could borrow with the older study guide) with my SS class or actually get this course. But it looks like this course has been nicely packaged together.
Thoughts anyone?
Thanks for any info. you may have on this course.

I thank God for Way of the Master! Because of the principles I learned from Ray Comfort, I was able to understand Reformed Theology better. I would suggest that everyone take the basing trainning course, as well as a further course offered for free at the following site:

Reformed Theological Society
From their statement of faith.

2. Reformed theology as set forth in the Westminster Confession of Faith and the Larger and Shorter Catechisms as originally adopted by the Presbyterian Church in the United States is the system of doctrine taught in Scripture; and, therefore, it is to be learned, taught and proclaimed for the edification and government of Christian people, for the propagation of the faith and for the evangelization of the world by the power of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
If you don't mind being indoctrinated into this denomination, then it would be ok.

3. And I do solemnly promise and engage not to inculcate, sanction, teach or insinuate anything that appears to me to contradict or contravene, either directly or implicitly, any element of that system of doctrine.

I mind.Well, I was saving #3 till someone contested #2 :lol2
I have nothing against building on the understanding of some great theologians of the past, but ultimately it is the Holy Spirit that teaches us, not any religions of man.
Especially when one has to swear to abide by mans teachings, that should send up a red flag. Would you agree?

I haven't taken the WOTM course either, but have some of their material and it is sound.
I am somewhat reluctant to street preach like Ray, Kirk and others do, although it seems very effective and the right way to evangelize.
I think there are some here that have taken it, maybe they will give some input.
Mailman Dan may be familiar, and maybe others.
