I wonder if they say "Let there Be Light" and they turn on the light?

here's another article on it:
http://ngm.nationalgeographic.com/2008/03/god-particle/achenbach-text
The name of the article is called "The God Particle"....sickening isn't it?
An atheist told me about this the other day and how it would prove that God does not exist. Yeah....something went Bang and nothing caused it??

This experiment WILL create tiny black hole particles that they are mostly certain won't stabilize into a real black hole.
there is also a small percentage chance that this experiment could produce strangelets, which are very heavy, hot particles that turn other particles into strangelets. ie, the whole earth turns into a small burning star. but that's only a small chance... here are some very insightful links into this scientific gamble.

monopoles could also be created which would disrupt the earth's magnetic field, which protects us and refracts some of the suns energy. the magnetic field that is already destabilizing in leadup to a full reversal (saw a show on this on the discovery channel, very well put together) and this would leave us vulnerable to solar flares. all of this is theoretical because noone has ever done this before.

Reading that story brought this to mind. They're looking for the "God particle"?
1Cr 1:18 I know very well how foolish the message of the cross sounds to those who are on the road to destruction. But we who are being saved recognize this message as the very power of God.
1Cr 1:19 As the Scriptures say, "I will destroy human wisdom and discard their most brilliant ideas."
1Cr 1:20 So where does this leave the philosophers, the scholars, and the world's brilliant debaters? God has made them all look foolish and has shown their wisdom to be useless nonsense.
1Cr 1:21 Since God in his wisdom saw to it that the world would never find him through human wisdom, he has used our foolish preaching to save all who believe. (NLT)
