TV Commercials and the signs of the times

I wanted to start this thread up again in light of the times we are in. I am seeing more and more perversions in TV commercials and ads in general. There is such a boldness these days when it comes to sex and showing scantily-clad women posing and/or showing young kids in "romantic" scenarios.

I have noticed over the weekend that there are now more commercials on tv about men and their body parts and how to increase the size and/or stamina, and this is no longer a late-night ad, but is being aired at all times of the day.

There is another ad that comes on SCIFI channel in the evenings advertising for exotic dancers club which is here in the big apple which is very illustrative and seductive that when I stumble across it, I have to turn the channel so fast as it disgusts me.

There was another commercial where a mom and her daughter are in a Dairy Queen and there is a young boy there whom I guess likes her and sends over an order, to which she thanks him and then says something snarky which draws a quizzical disbelief look from her mother.

Please feel free to post any other commercials you have seen and how they relate to the times we are in.

it's not just commercials. I get emails from AFA and they sent me an email about Proctor and Gamble and how they are promoting homosexuality on the soaps they sponser. They showed 2 guys open mouth kiss :tsk

:gaah Girls gone wild commercials right in the middle of Star Trek! I have to change the channel every single time there is a commercial break as they show these commercials each time. :rant

Sesame Street finally showed two men with a child during the "Family" song montage a few weeks ago. I'd been waiting for that one...

Don't forget the new one that's out for the competition to the Christian dating service...it shows two men holding hands in a grocery store talking about their mothers and how they will never leave each other....obviously a same-sex "couple." It's disgusting.

There is one about a dating service with two guys in the grocery store....Yuck....I don't know the name of the company but I know it is a channel turner at my house. The only problem is if you have direct tv like I do they schedule the commercials at the same time so sometimes I have to flip more than once just to escape the trash.
