Preheat oven to 350. Brown 1 1/2 lbs of ground beef w/ 1/2 c. chopped onion; drain. Stir in 6 oz can tomato paste, 2 oz can undrained mushroom stems & pieces, 1 1/2 tsps oregano, 1 1/4 tsps salt, 1/2 tsp pepper; simmer. Press biscuits into greased 9 in. pie pan to form crust. Spoon meat mix into crust. Slice 1 tomato and arrange atop pie, sprinkle w/ 1 c. shredded Mozarella or Provolone. Bake at 350, 20-25 min until golden brown. Let stand 5 min before serving.
