It seems the $4.00 a gallon has reached us. We had a $.23 jump from yesterday...why? Who knows, but I know it's ridiculous. It's now $3.95 and expected to hit even higher by tomorrow! OY!!!!!!!!!! The middle class is slowly dying off:tsk

Yeah, the middle class is on the way to the bottom !!! I do wonder how much longer the everyday person will be able to hang on ?? Esp the ones with the big SUV's and trucks ?? I have a old truck that is a gas guzzler but I only use it to haul hay and the other day I have to put gas in it. That shot the hay budget by the time you add in gas for the truck :tsk Happy that my everyday car is small and gets 30 miles to the gallon. No way I could afford to drive a truck to work. It has got to be hurting alot of people that need a big car or truck.

We only have 1 vehicle and I stay home and work from here. So we only fill up once every 10 days or so. But I totally agree with you on the big cars. How does that verse go? A day's wages ....It's terrible that I cannot remember how it goes. I'll have to look it up!

I don't know how much more of this the American people will take. I sense a revolt on the horizon. :ohno

Revelation 6:6
And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

Meaning that our daily bread will cost a day`s wages.

Well, I was very excited this morning to see that gas went down from $3.99 yesterday, to $3.98 today.

Thought it was kind of weird, but I'm not complaining.

A revolt may be what it takes.

I don't think Americans have it in them to come together in an organized manner. This culture of individualism, apathy, and fear of loss doesn't produce the type of people needed for a revolt.

We see clips of huge worker rallies in europe, giant riots in asia etc. Whens the last time a large portion of our population gathered in the streets to protest? Sure there is localized special interest stuff but nothing that really has told the government "enough is enough"

Sadly, FarmBoy, you're probably right. It's a whole lot easier to whine and complain than to get off our butts and take a stand.:ohno

I agree.
