I am so sorry for staying away for a long while, but we switched service providers and it took a long time to get it working. :tsk

Thanks to all your advice, I talked to my girls and let them know that she is a very confused lady right now, and that they shouldn’t listen to what she says, or listen politely and not believe it. They find it very hard since she has always been someone close and trusted to the family. She still managed to send my youngest into a crying fit with some twisted story about how her father deserved to die, didn’t love her enough to survive his accident…I was raging!
Thankfully, Mrs. L dug herself a pit by shouting at them (while they were on the front yard playing something along the lines of “flying around the world” )
“fools! The earth is not round! That is a lie of Satanists! You will burn in hell!!!
The Bible says it is flat and so it is!”:faint

We have family both in France and Australia, and my girls are very well acquainted with flights, maps and locations…so they just giggled and ran inside to tell me how funny it was that she has indeed lost her marbles.:yeah

Now to tackle the “Mommy, I wanna Riverdance” issue…. :ohno

Sounds like your girls are handling the situation well, but I'm just still sorry that they're having to listen to her rantings.

:thinking Do you by any chance have a back yard?

There's no reason why their harmless child-like play should be disturbed by someone who is 'somewhere else'. In fact, I'd have a healthy fear of her. If she's as far afield as your post indicates, she bears watching closely. I'd move out of the neighborhood if it is possible.

I would be stocking up video-tape proof of harrassment. Just in case something happens. Also, if you can afford it, high fences make great neighbors.

Don't forget to sprinkle salt all around your property line . . . .

Install motion activated sprinklers everywhere . . . .

just kidding

Truly though, I would file a report now so your neighborhood police will have a record of her activities and keep an eye on her. I get really angry when I hear of children being harassed. She sounds like the crazy woman that was on wife swap or whatever that show is called. Let me at her!
