I have been getting "friend" requests...what does this mean and what does it do???? :hehee

That just means people love you and want you in their "friends circle." I really haven't figured out the advantage of it though. We can still PM any member on here.:idunno So other than to just let folks know you're special to them, I don't know what it means.:scratch

I think you can let friends see things in your profile that you can block for others... like images and whatnot... not sure about that... but that would be an advantage... opening yourself up a little bit more personally to folks you've learned to trust. Otherwise we stay pretty anonymous.

:nod Friends (and mods) can see your private photo albums. You can also check quickly (via the User CP) to see which friends are currently online.
