My son, Zach, loved the 1st one and my dw found it @ Mardels. There are 10 books in the series. My son is a 2nd grader. He is in grade school. We homeschooled him for K but sent him to school since. FYI...doing some further study, Jerry Thomas is an Adventist. I'll keep my eye on these books but so far they are right on target.

These look interesting. I'll have to check them out. Our church library is needing more books for our children's area too, so I'll have to look into these for our library.

Is that (Adventist) good or bad?

It's something to watch out for. Some Adventist stuff is fine and some not so much.. The kids stuff is probably fine and we really enjoyed the 1st book of this series and plan to buy more. Adult Adventist stuff can get out there some especially w/endtimes date setting and such, so you just have to be careful.
