Sticky Threads - the Best of the Best.

There are many sticky threads in some of the forums. To be made sticky, a thread needs to be very good, covering something that should not be lost amongst the rest. However, as the number of sticky threads grow, the rest can get lost at the bottom of the screen.

Is there a sufficient number of sticky threads that it might be possible to take the best of the best and put them in a forum of their own? I know it would be quite a lot of work to set it up but it would give everyone a place to look for the very best available.

There would be a downside in that it would mean that the threads would no longer be located in the forum to which they relate.

Any thoughts?

i noticed there were an awful lot of them in some forums, and it was a bit cluttery looking, the separator bar helps some, but the locked stickies make it appear at first glance like the forum is full of threads gone bad :heh



at a BB i used to hang out before, they did have a special archive for those best threads. i think they called it:

Past Amazing Threads
with an underscript of "stuff you don't want to miss"

Might not be a bad idea to consider it here... the moving might be troublesome, and the forum context will be uprooted.... but....
