I have a video 30GB Ipod. I haves several tv shows that I downloaded for free listed on my ITUNES when I open it, but for some reason they are not showing up ON my IPOD when I updated it.
One TV show does, but the rest have never been transfered over to my IPOD.
I have no problem watching video Pod Casts. This seems to just be an issue with TV shows.
Anyone know why or if there is a way to fix this?

I have had to "convert" some of my video files to be compatable with my iPod. Not sure about TV shows though, I haven't put them on here yet.
I have the same http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v626/light4mypath/Shoppee%20Items/ipod.gif as you, so I went to the itunes site and this is what I found:
Pod connection requires iPod AV Connection Kit (http://www.apple.com/ipod/accessories.html), sold separately.
Here is the link to the page with the TV info: ITunes Store-TV Shows (http://www.apple.com/itunes/store/tvshows.html)

Thanks.. I think the connection kit is if I want my IPOD to play the downloaded tv shows ON my tv. But I just want to watch them on the IPOD, not connect it to my tv.
I downloaded them directly from ITUNES, so I would assume they would already be in the right format. But maybe I need to look at that angle incase they are not. :thumb

Hmmmm, I would think if you got them from iTunes they would be in the right format also. :scratch That doesn't make sense. Has me puzzled. I will have to get an iTunes card now so I can buy a Tv show and see whats up with it. Been wanting to do it anyway, now this gives me an excuse....http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v626/light4mypath/heh.gif

The ones I have for TV shows were all free downloads. I'm cheap. :heh
The only TV show that has worked on the IPOD for me has been some free sesame street ones I got for my daughter. :pound

If you go to Itunes, and then the store. Almost all the way down they have free downloads of the week.

Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you. Been working 10 hour shifts all week long. (gonna be doing that until July 27 as well as a few Sat's in there too) Doesn't allow me much puter time.....:tapfoot
You can get a bunch of free shows HERE (http://abc.go.com/itunes/millionhitlowdown/index.html?v3)
I added some shows to mine, and I don't seem to have a problem........The only other thing I can think of, is, did you update your itunes version? All the shows I have required iTunes Version 7 (http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/).
