Crafty as in Michaels/ACMoore/Hobby Lobby?

I'm not, so I need some advice. My mom gave me this adorable little tote from Vicky's Secret with bath and body stuff in it. I would love to use this little tote as a purse, but it has victoria's secret scrawled all over it. I don't feel it would be modest to carry around something like that, so can you suggest easy ways to cover up the writing and the patch? I can't sew, BTW. Here's a picture of what the bag looks like:

you may be able to rip the seam of the patch to remove it....

i don't know what type of fabric the bag is, but you might get away with using some permanent fabric paint on it- the thicker opaque paints... do stamp art maybe or a contrasting tri color sponge effect....

It's like a thick, denim, canvas kind of material. I think you're right about the patch coming off easily.

Um, maybe you could brush it with diluted bleach, then re-dye it. :idunno

Yeah, and if this doesn't work, just use it at home to store small items up high on a closet shelf somewhere. I don't blame you for not wanting to 'advertise' for VS.

iron on decals-
buy them, print your favorite pictures on them, iron them on.
easy-peasy.

Paint the red label tan. Spray the rest of the bag with fabric paint.. you could find denim. It's cute! I LOVE to spray things.

Thanks for the great suggestions!:hug

I think I'm gonna remove the label patch and spray the bag with fabric paint...then decorate it somehow. I'll have to see what Michaels has. The iron-on is a cute idea too.
