A teenager is facing prosecution for using the word "cult" to describe the Church of Scientology.

The unnamed 15-year-old was served the summons by City of London police when he took part in a peaceful demonstration opposite the London headquarters of the controversial religion.

Officers confiscated a placard with the word "cult" on it from the youth, who is under 18, and a case file has been sent to the Crown Prosecution Service.

Man, there was a movie star recently who had some video on Youtube (I think) slamming Scientology. Good thing he's in the U.S...... (but THAT day is comin'!)

this is so ridiculous. how can you have charges pressed against you for voicing your opinion? this is a great example of what the world will be like soon.

ummmm....but it IS a cult started by a bad sci-fi writer (yes, I like sci-fi books and I have read his....he should be prosecuted for wasting paper if he wasn't already dead)

That's why America decided to fight (England) back in 1776. FREEDOM! But don't be deceived. People give up their rights as Christian's when we don't participate, right up to and through being persecuted. Our Christian ideals should flow right pass our American ideals. Don't forget to vote and stay active against evil. Christ never called anyone a cult. He called them vipers though.:lol2
