What am I going to do to gain Dominion of my life? KJV

Does any one have any thoughts on this verse in Genesis and having Dominion of my life.

Does any one have any thoughts on this verse in Genesis and having Dominion of my life.Genesis 1:26 is talking about man's dominion over the other life forms on the earth.

Eek, that sounds like someone who's into name it and claim it theology or taking dominion of your life, positive thought, etc.

Gen. 1:26 is speaking of the creation of man, who in his unfallen state would have dominion over the earth-but when the fall happened, everything changed and the earth was cursed. Man is no longer in his perfect state of innocence and peace with the creation, Jesus came to undo that-but we will not see the finality of it until the 2nd coming.

I thought the same as posted above. My first thought was to tell her she needs to make sure that Christ and the Word is ruling in her life. If that is so she would be shining his light and his word through her life. She may be looking for some scripture to help her with some sin in her life that is over coming her. The KJV has Dominion and the NIV has Rule. Let God and his Word rule in your life. I don't know this person directly. My wife works with her and she passed this question on to me.
