Gas is $4.09 in Ann Arbor, MI. It's hovering at $4.05 in northern Oakland County (north of Detroit). That's on Wednesday evening. Wednesday morning, gas was between $3.95 and $3.99.

That's ridiculous! I know the holiday is coming up... I know gas was up to $134 a barrel today... but ten cents????

I seriously wish I could call into work for a month and not drive anywhere. I don't know how cash-strapped families are managing. It's just SO irritating. :tsk

This is going to be far more than an irritation.... these prices are predicted to be considered "the good ol' days!"

Perhaps what will cripple American economy expidentially making her unable to protect Israel? Just a though.:idunno

Sure seems possible by the way things have, and are progressing.

Diesel is 4.29/gal here.

Keep in mind the price for wholesale gas went up about 10 cents just today and is up around 20 or so on the week..... so this is warranted from a market perspective. I am paying about 3.60 -3.80 depending on the station right now... in texas the taxes plus fed is 38 cents and wholesale is at 3.42 so added up that is up to 3.80 with no transportation costs added in.. or profit for gas stations... so I can figure $4 for sure very soon.

I pulled into a gas station last night after work and was suprised when it read $3.87 a gal. cuz everything around here is at least 4 bucks, but as I was pumping I looked that way and it said 3.99. I have been wondering if my eyes were playing tricks on me or did they change it from inside that quickly???

That is why I have decided to ride the bus, starting next week.

If more people did that, that would sure send a message. Can't sell what people don't buy.

That bus runs on gas too.

We don't have buses around here.

I don't live on the bus line either. I am driving 6.6 miles to the bus stop. I clocked it this morning.
