YES! I went to the Sprint store tonight and signed up for the Sprint Broadband for internet when I am out of town. It can be difficult to get away when you run your own company, and we go to the lake a lot in the summertime! Now we are going from Friday until Tuesday since I got this. :yeah

Has anyone used this yet? I am going to set it up soon. If it works really well, then I may even cancel my internet at home. (Hubby and I will have to share :panic)

I have been waiting for this for YEARS! I was so excited when I saw the commercial and they were very helpful in the store- not pushy at all even though my cell phone is with T-mobile!

Now my laptop will never leave my side! :aha

Is that with the card you throw in the side of it? I've been thinking of doing the same with AT&T (Whom has the fastest data network in the country, look it up. Study was done.) for when I'm gone or whatever.

Course, I've also been debating a tethering plan for my phone. Nashville is part of AT&T's 3G network, so it'd comparable to a 1.5mbps DSL line. I've got unlimited data, and a program to turn it into a wireless gateway. Still, an extra 30 bucks a month tacked on to an already $200/month...

Let us know how it works for you. Speeds, and whatnot.

They said that my speed should be as fast as my cable internet, and when I plugged it in last night it worked really well! I saw on the AT&T site that it is $60 for 5 GB of data and I am paying the same for unlimited. I got the card you plug into the USB slot... this weekend will be the true test. I liked Sprint, too, because they told me that if it didn't work out well, I have 30 days to opt out of my contract.
