Does anyone know anything about Jeff Myers from Myers Institute. He helps people become leaders and also Summit Ministries?
Are they sound biblically? It seems like it from reading their website information but I know that can be deceiving.
Any feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks

On this page of the Summit Institute, you'll find a reference to Spiritual Formation and "leading Christian thinkers" (page 3)

Is this the correct website? You didn't provide a link so I don't know if it's the right one.

Here's what Summit sells in their online store:
Playing with Fire: How the Bible Ignites Change in Your Soul
For the customer who equates reading the Bible to watching grass grow, Playing With Fire shows them how powerful and exciting scripture can be. Walt Russell teaches us how to study different sections of the Bible in ways that change reader's perception of God's word and transforms their lives. This material has been used in Russell's college courses with life-changing results. He gives detailed examples for studying each section of the Bible and helps readers refine their ability to read and interpret it, providing the essential tools for unlocking the meaning of God's Word. This is part of the NavPress Spiritual Formation Line which focuses on bringing radical soul transformation-rather than outward conformity-to the ordinary Christian.

The Holy Spirit is not needed ??
Art for God's Sake: A Call to Recover the Arts
What does God say about the Arts? Can you be a Christian and an artist? How do the arts impact your church? The creation sings to us with the visual beauty of God's handiwork. But what of man-made art? Much of it is devoid of sacred beauty and is often rejected by Christians. Christian artists struggle to find acceptance within the church. If all of life is to be viewed as "under the lordship of Christ" can we rediscover what God's plan is for the arts?

Sounds like the Emergent/Emerging Church philosophy...

Thanks for the info and yes that is the website. I had a suspicion that it had some emergent stuff in it. I think a while back I remember reading on their site somewhere that they don't take a stand either way for or against the creation/evolution issue which I just don't get. If I find the link I'll post it.
Thanks again
