Dramatic evidence of the break-up of the Arctic ice-cap has emerged from research during an expedition by the Canadian military.
Scientists travelling with the troops found major new fractures during an assessment of the state of giant ice shelves in Canada's far north.
The team found a network of cracks that stretched for more than 10 miles (16km) on Ward Hunt, the area's largest shelf.
The fate of the vast ice blocks is seen as a key indicator of climate change.

I read not too long ago huge ice blocks would soon get into the shipping lanes and make travel on the oceans very dangerous.:idunno

I wouldn't be surprised if the "Scientists" were out there prior with some c4 or a hammer and a chisel, creating these cracks for PR:rolleyes.
Have you all heard about Carbon Belch Day? This article is pretty amusing:
Carbon Belch Day is coming

With the Senate expected to vote next month on the massive $1.2
Trillion Carbon tax, Grassfire is striking back at climate
alarmism with a bold, new initiative…
Carbon Belch Day!
It’s the antithesis of all the bogus global warming “go green”
websites that try to make you feel guilty for your “carbon footprint.”
In fact, for this one special day (June 12) we’re encouraging
citizens to expand their carbon output in one, giant collective
“Carbon Belch.”

That great ice cap reflects sunlight, so if it gets smaller, it will reflect less heat, causing more melting, causing more fractures, causing.... you get the picture. Then we have bergs following the ocean currents into shipping lanes, subsequent melting, etc. There are so many things on this planet going south, excuse the pun, not intended, how can anyone not believe "the earth grows old like a worn garment'. I can't remember where I read that verse. Birth pangs, people, getting closer together. Lord, rend the heavens and come down.
