Nicodemus Leaders

Cowardice and pragmatism keep many from speaking up for truth these days. I recently referred to such “Nicodemus” Christians who call or email by night and say, “Go! It’s about time somebody said this. Keep it up!” But where the battles are the hottest, these Christians are nowhere to be found. They don’t like getting mocked and spit at online or they have an eye on the bottom line for their ministries. Controversy might have a negative effect on donations. The Discernment Research Group has just published an article called, “Nicodemus Christians” which addresses this very thing. It’s time to leave the tall grass, fellow believers. It’s time to come out in the light of day and speak truth. The world and the pretenders within the church will thank you little for it, but when was it ever about pleasing them? The pleasure of Jesus Christ is all that matters.

Was the Apostle Paul Mean to False Teachers?

Good Quotes, Scripture

I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

–Galatians 1:6-9
