And it was promptly by God to do it this morning. I felt like there was no escape from doing this deed. I'm always afraid to witness because of the whole "I don't know if I have enough information" thing, but since my relationship with the Lord has grown very strongly over the past few months, this morning, there was no denying what the Lord wanted me to do.

As I was speaking, I realized I have a lot more to say than I thought. So I just kept on a-goin'...

I said quite a bit. I think I may have said too much and he thinks I've totally lost all ("earthly") logic. All I know for sure is that God called upon me to do something loud and clear, and I did it, and I'm glad I was able to do it.

He's my flatmate, so I just have to continue living for God and being an example of Christ. That was my first time really witnessing to someone, and the first time God has really put it on my heart to DO IT NOW. It was also good for me to see just how much I've learned. But I did it, and I can't wait to do more! :yeah

Phew!

:praying your words are found in in an open and softened heart and that the seed you planted will be deep in rich soil so that your flatmate will become a strong a fruitful Christian :thumb Excellent job following God's leading.

Oh, thats wonderful! It sounds like you were under the unction of the Holy Spirit. When He prompts me to witness, I can talk non-stop about things I didn`t even know I knew! :yeah

That is so good that you listened to the Holy Spirit leading and prompting you- and you opened your mouth and God gave you what to say. He is so good! It is so exciting...

It feels wonderful doesn't it when you follow the Holy Spirits urging. I witnessed to a man sitting next to me on a plane a couple days ago. It's one of the few times I've verbally witnessed to someone I don't know - a stranger. Some think it's easier to do that but I find it easier to witness to those I know personally. Passing out tracks to strangers is generally the way I've witnessed to them so this was a big deal for me. Most of the time I don't seem to be prompted to witness to someone I'm sitting next to like this but this time I did. I sort of waited to the right moment in the conversation and it came. I was afraid it wouldn't come up but it did.
