Would you please help me say a little prayer. :pray I know this sounds a little selfish but here goes anyway.

My son is trying out for High School Basketball. He is really quite good at it but during middle school the coach pre-picked his players without giving anyone a chance (which actually showed on the court = boys who can't dribble the ball). Anyway, my son was miserable about it for the past two years. Now he has the chance to prove himself on the court but I am getting nervous for him.

Growing up is hard to do. I'm just sure who it is harder on the Mom or the kid.

The Lord wants us to bring all our cares and concerns to Him. I will join you in this prayer. You know, when your son.uses his God given talents, even his athletic talents, he's honoring God. Just remind him that his takent was given to him from God and that he should give God all the praise and glory. He should also work hard to develop and enhance his talent, play unselfishly as a team player and be obedient to his coach. :hug
