I have a question please ..... in reading the board rules and the mission statement I noticed that the last two highlighted below are incongruous with each other. How can you expose false teachings and websites but not talk about end times or Antichrist speculation ??? It seems that one on hand you are asking people to find the truth but on the other tying their hands ... am I missing something ???

I don't understand ...

<<<• Discussing and providing websites exposing False Cults, False Doctrines, and False Teachings.>>>

<<<[11] No End Times Date Settings or Antichrist speculations. This includes linking to sites that speculate.>>>

Rapture Ready Message Board Mission Statement :

There are the simple goals that the board wishes to achieve:

• Provide means for Christians to gather and have fellowship.
• Strengthen of believers in evangelism, discipleship, and edification for personal growth.
• Promote awareness within the Christian community of how the world relates to Bible prophecy"
• Provide websites voicing politics from a Christian perspective, so that the issues may be examined by board members"

Speaking for myself (I didn't write the rules, just enforce them), end time date setting is where YOU would say 'the rapture will happen such and such a date' or post a website and say 'this person has figured out the rapture will be this Friday, take a look!'. Same thing for Anti-Christ speculation, where they've traced a person's genealogy back to an old Roman Empire country and decided this person fits the criteria of the Anti-Christ and they've decided to proclaim it to the world.

That's entirely different from discussing Word of Faith and why it's scripturally unsound, or Benny Hinn, etc. And sometimes it does get into a gray area, such as a prophecy teacher pinning the tail on the A/C. Your good prophecy teachers won't try to set a date or expose the Anti-Christ.

I hope that made some sense. :) I'll save more complicated explanations for the administrators. :lol2
