With todays soaring grocery prices I am really trying harder to shop smart. I have been couponing to cut costs. Just wondering if anyone here is interested in sharing/trading coupons. I know that every penny counts.

I might possibly be interested, but how would we do that? :scratch

We could organize a coupon train where I send to you, you send to third, third sends to fourth, so on and the end comes back to me. It would also be good to make like a wish list of items you may be in need of and people could RAOK them to each other. We would also need to post when we mail and receive so that we know who is keeping up and who is not. We could do this on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis however I feel that it would be better for a weekly basis because then it becomes part of your regular routine. We would also need to agree on a set number of coupons to send I think 50 would be good because that should just be one stamp.
So what do you guys think?

If you guys do this, PLEASE don't let your private contact information become public. Use PMs as much as possible. You also might want to be sure you feel comfortable giving a total stranger your contact info. Something to talk to hubbys about first. Just being cautious. :)

Amen to the security note, here. Perhaps we can trade coupons with others in our own areas - apartment building/neighborhood, etc.?
I will put a note up at my mailbox and see what happens.
Thanks for the idea. Some coupons are real valuable!
And a dollar saved is a dollar saved.

Yes PM is a must. Do not post any personal info here!

From another message board I haunted back in the day: We suggest PO box's if you are going to start swapping mail.
Doesn't mean we don't trust each other, it simply means the honest truth: we do not actually know each other in our real lives. Piles of trolls creep in here unawares, and you just never know.
Like Lisa? I would give her my address because I've seen her witness online for a couple of years now and feel pretty confident she is not a stalking ax murderer. But by the same token I know that she would respect her husbands doubt (of a total stranger to him) and not want her telling me where they live. A PO Box he might be ok with tho.

Ok so I am getting the idea that most will not feel comfortable with it so I guess it may not work out. Too bad.

I would be careful with that Lisa, she knows where all the good cupcakes are located and has no problem thwarting your diet by bringing them to your home. :tsk
