Hi! I've actually posted some, before I introduced myself. Sorry. I'm kinda backward! :idunno

I am 40 years old, married to a Christian man who is 45. My daughter is 11, and my son is 7. Both of my children have confessed that they gave their hearts to Jesus when they were little tiny things.

This is a trend in my family. My mother gave hers but she can't remember how old she was, and my sister and I came home from Vacation Bible School at about 2 and 3, claiming we'd given Jesus our hearts.

My maternal grandfather was a Methodist minister, and my maternal grandmother was not only his wife (a full time job), but also a 6th grade teacher! My mom taught high school full-time, and I teach high school. I was full time, but am now out on disability with back and nerve pain.

Anyway, I've always had rock steady faith in God, and overwhelming love for Jesus, but never truly understood the sacrifice of Jesus until I held my daughter in my arms. On that day I truly dedicated myself to Jesus.:yeah

I'm excited about the Rapture, and about meeting you all virtually. I can't wait to meet you in Heaven!

:wave Hi Blessed Assurance! GREAT introduction! I'm 33 (saved as a child, but strayed several times), my husband was saved only a couple of years ago (yes, we were "unequally yoked" but it worked out), we've been married for...uh...almost 16 years, have two daughters, 14 and 9, and can't wait to meet the people of this site in Heaven!

BlessedAssurance--Welcome and God bless you -i am sorry you are in pain. i too, am on (my case is permanent) disability -(a thorn i've asked Him to take from me--but that He has not removed--and now am actually thankful for-keeps me clinging to Him-and is very humbling!)--but living with any disability on a daily basis is very difficult and you have my prayers for recovery. ..and like you, i truly understand how children can make such a difference in our walks with Him!
