A great set of books with a lot of allegories on Christ, the world, sin, redemption. His imagination is outstanding and these books are wonderful.

I will second that!

SIL and BIL sent them to me as a gift this past year...I seriously could NOT put them down, and was really happy they sent all three at the same time so I didn't have to wait for the next book. They were quite different from other Christian fiction works I'd read and I truly enjoyed them.

Well now you've gotta get "Showdown", "Saint" and "Skin" as they are tied into the Circle Trilogy. I just finished Skin and the book was left hanging and then at the back it says "The Horde's been missing you!" and goes on to tell about the next book due out in Jan 2008 which will be simulataneously released with the second book in a new 6-novel series back in the alternate reality. :yeah

One of the characters in "Skin" wears a t-shirt that says "Forest Guard"

The teaser for the new series is that four young members of the Forest Guard have to work for Elyon and find some of the missing history books.

I'm too impatient............can't wait.:willie Want them now, now, now!:yeah

Oh, no WAY! I had no idea!! Great, now I'll get nothing done next week, LOL!! :pound

There is so much that can be done with the plot using the missing history books...that is going to be a great new series.

thanks for the heads-up...I'll look for them ASAP at the local bookstore. :)

Ya know... I don't know if I would read his books after reading the book he co-wrote with Perreti. At this point I don't even remember the title of it, just that the plot was so silly that I thought it was a completely different writer than Perreti. After a quick look I saw that the title was 'House.' Don't read it if you haven't. It's awful. Are these books better than that horrid story?
