I knew Dubai was growing in status, but I had no idea that it was such a hot spot:

From Gulfnews.com: Hollywood heartthrob Brad Pitt plans to make his mark on Dubai, claiming the new hotel and resort designed by him will be an "incredible attraction".

The five-star project, of which the location has yet to be revealed, will include an 800-room five-star hotel, which developers hope will eventually play host to the most glamorous events and award ceremonies.

THIS is where celebrities will be hanging out. L.A. and New York will be old news. This "Brad Pitt" hotel is in addition to the "Tiger Woods" golf course and "Maria Sharapova" commnunity. Not to mention the plethora of celebrities that have been visiting Dubai. And I bet they'll all be on hand for the spectacular debut of the amazing "Atlantis" hotel in September.

Scary!!!! :rolleyes

Yes, I've seen several stories on all the things they are building there. It IS scary! :panic Seems almost like the new Babylon. :idunno Something doesn't feel right about it, IMO. I don't think I've ever seen such wealth displayed or concentrated in one place like that before. Maybe it's just me though. :scratch
