What joy this "shout" and the ""trumpet sound" will be!! What a surprise! What a gift!

I am content to wait with excitement, keeping an eye on Israel, seeing these pieces all coming together, knowing for sure Jesus is at the door.

any moment of time!!

We WILL be with Jesus-- sooner or later! All joy!

I see/hear a lot about the abundance of falling stars and the blood red moon, etc... THIS IS NORMAL...
We sail 6,000+ miles per year offshore, about half of it is night-time and on any given 2-3 hour watch we will see 10-30 shooting stars... a bright red moon is nothing unusual, especially if there is pollution.
Yes, times are weird but these aren't signs in the sky... (they aren't really stars falling...as someone tried to convince me of the other day...)

4 Total Lunar Eclipses in one Jewish year on feast days when something extraordinary happens to Israel is NOT normal. 3 times it has happened since 1492. A fourth is coming...

SeekingHisTruth, the blood red moon you're talking about will most likely happen due to a comet hitting the earth, or a nuclear war, or, even a super volcano (such as yellowstone) will cause that. The sun will also turn black as sackcloth. In otherwords, that blood red moon will be triggered by something cataclystmic happening to the earth.

IMHO. people have ignored the obvious (eclipses) and gone off on rabbit trail trying to figure out what cataclsymic events could cause the blood moon and sackcloth sun.

Perhaps, there will be a cataclysmic event accompanying one, but for the most part we have probably overlooked the simple answer: eclipses.

So if anyone knows when Pentacost actually is - I'd love to know. I can't figure it out...

well officially it already passed, but that is because Easter was weird and came really early. I don't think it was the true anniversary of Pentecost.

Dani D, check out Hebcal.com

It's the Hebrew calendar

(See JustinSolo's correct post, on the prior page!)

--- EDIT --- CORRECTION --- Oops, sorry!

The Bible says that Firstfruits (Resurrection Day, as we know it) is always "the first day after the sabbath" (following Passover.) So, in other words, it always falls on a Sunday :), ... and Pentecost is 50 days from Firstfruits.

I think even the Jewish Pentecost is not the correct date anymore. I believe the biblical date would be one week later. You are supposed to count 50 days from firstfruits, not Passover. It was meant to float around, not be a fixed date of the 6th of Sivan.

Yes, JustinSolo... The info I had posted was not entirely accurate (see my last post.) Thanks for the "correction" (even though I posted mine after yours.:hehee)

If I counted correctly it is June 15

That's a good one. How about that one where people keep seeing aliens and reporters are investigating the sightings and at the end the Rapture occurs but not really, because some Christian reporters play a joke on another reporter who doesn't believe in God and play a fake "Rapture" on him at the office. It was a good one. :) Anyone remember what it was called, anyone...anyone.

Bueller?...........I think it was Unidentified by JVI ministries.

Thanks, yes that was it, "Unidentified". :hat Cool movie. Good catch on the Bueller quote too!

Here's an interesting Q & A from Jack Kelley's website just posted today regarding Pentecost and relating to this thread:

The Wave Offering

Ask a Bible Teacher

Q. Ive seen different accounts of what is "waved" at Pentecost/Shavuot wheat and barley. Does it mark the end of barley (spring) and beginning of wheat? Can you shed some light?

A. The barley harvest began at First Fruits and the wheat harvest at Pentecost. Wave offerings accompanied both but at Pentecost it was two loaves of bread baked with yeast instead of a sheaf of grain as at first fruits. (Lev. 23:15-16) The bread with yeast is another of those little clues that make Pentecost the most likely feast date for the Rapture. If the Rapture is set to happen on a feast date, that is.
